Steve, a trained jeweller is the technical mind of the team, bringing precision and expertise through CAD design, repairs and transformations and a meticulous approach to making every handmade piece.
Ewa
Ewa is also a trained jeweller and the creative one, drawn to the world of design and particularly the ancient art of lost wax casting, where ideas can be shaped by hand and transformed into something completely unique and organic in either gold or silver.
Our Story
We are Steve and Ewa a husband and wife team and the faces behind Pomegranate Jewellery, We believe jewellery should be meaningful and as unique as the story it celebrates.
Every piece we create is handcrafted by us, in our jewellery studio in the heart of the beautiful village of Rottingdean, East Sussex. From the first idea to the finished piece, we work with our hands, our tools and traditional jewellery-making techniques to create jewellery that feels personal, unique and made to last. If you are passing by you will see us with our masks and goggles on and our tools in hand.
We love the process of making jewellery, from bringing our customer’s initial ideas to life to designing, shaping, carving, soldering, casting and polishing. Whether we're creating a completely bespoke piece, transforming a treasured heirloom into something new, there is always love, care and craftsmanship in every piece we make and that's what makes handcrafted jewellery so special.
Jewellery Made in Rottingdean
Our little studio in Rottingdean is where the magic happens.
It's where ideas become sketches, metal and wax become jewellery and treasured old pieces are given a new lease of life. It's also where we meet our customers, talk through their ideas and create pieces that celebrate the people, places and moments that matter most.
We use a variety of jewellery making techniques including lost wax casting, traditional silversmithing and C.A.D to create pieces that tell your story.
We each bring something different to the bench and although we have different strengths, our skills naturally intertwine. We challenge, inspire and complement each other, making us a great team both creatively and technically.
At the heart of everything we do are our values, vision and goals. We believe jewellery should feel personal and meaningful, and we love working closely with our customers to bring their ideas, stories and dreams to life.
For us, it’s not simply about making jewellery, it’s about creating something that has a story, feels truly personal, and can be treasured for years to come.
As a Team we
Will always create a visual from resin or wax of your design before we create the final casting, this means you can see what your design will look like before you give us the final go ahead.
Take inspiration from nature, mythology, texture and the wonderful stories our customers bring to us. Every piece has its own character, just like the person who wears it.
Can also transform your treasured gold and silver pieces into something completely new, giving sentimental pieces another chapter.
