Excellent service from start to finish! Steve handled a very expensive piece of sentimental jewellery for me, with the greatest of care. It was a repair and he made me feel reassured and comfortable the whole way through. Pomegranate Jewellery is a delightful gem on the far corner of Rottingdean High Street.
Apart from making and selling beautiful jewellery, the kind and empathetic owner Steve also reshapes, restores and resurrects metal objects, some previously lost for many years.
My brass scales - rescued by German neighbours from the SS who came to arrest my Jewish grandmother and take her to die in Ausschwitz concentration camp - had languished at the back of a box in cupboards, grey and hidden for many years.
Steve restored the scales to a shining, golden colour. So now I have an object of historical significance (as well as my Libran birth sign) to donate to the museum in Bremen.
