Kaleidoscope Pop Ring
Our beautiful Kaleidoscope Pop Ring, is hand made in wax and brought to life through the ancient technique of lost wax casting. Its organic, sculptural form creates a playful rainbow of gemstone colours that catch the light from every angle.
At the centre is a vibrant 6mm peridot, surrounded by two 5mm bright pink sapphires , a 2.75mm blue topaz, a 2.75mm padparadscha sapphire, and a 2.5mm blue sapphire, alongside a paler 2.5mm pink sapphire. Each stone is nestled into the textured gold surface, giving the ring its wonderfully tactile, molten quality.
Rather than following a traditional symmetrical design, the stones are arranged like a tiny kaleidoscope, each colour and facet playing against the next. The rough hewn, rippled texture of the cast gold enhances the sense that the piece has been formed organically, somewhere between sculpture and jewellery.
